Launched in 2021, the Geotechnical Engineering Education Project is a long-term initiative by Rio Tinto, Oyu Tolgoi, and MUST to develop highly skilled engineers and position Mongolia as a leading center for geotechnical engineering education.

The third graduation ceremony marked another important milestone, welcoming 14 new geotechnical engineers. Our challenge was to communicate the event as more than a graduation ceremony, highlighting the project's long-term impact on Mongolia's engineering education and mining industry.

We developed and implemented a strategic communications campaign combining media relations, graduate storytelling, photography, and video production. By highlighting graduate achievements, career opportunities, and the launch of the master's program, we showcased the project's progress and its role in inspiring the next generation of Mongolian engineers.
